This is Lylie the Lizard (named by Cassidy). She (?) came to visit us twice this weekend and hung out on the wall. She's back! I think she's our new pet. I hope the dogs don't eat her...

Cassidy tried out her rollerblades for the first time today! We geared her up with a helmet, knee pads and elbow pads and she didn't even fall! She did a pretty good job! She was so proud!

day 136/365 my desk...
This card table is going to be my desk for the next 8-10 weeks! UGH! My beautiful desk/craft table is backordered and not set to ship until July 5!!!!!! UGH!!!! When I ordered it, it had a ship date of May 2...then it was May 9...then it was May 16...all of which I could live with...BUT now JULY 5? Seriously??? UGH!

day 135/365 molars
This morning, Cassidy woke up saying her right ear hurt. I immediately thought uh oh...could it be an ear infection? She hasn't had an ear infection since pre-tubes, which were placed in 12/08! She had her tubes taken out a couple months ago. One side is good and healed (the right), the other needs a bit more time. So I took her to the peds walk-in. Turns out she doesn't have an ear infection after all. She just has huge molars coming in!!!

day 131/365 office space
At our old house, we had built-in office furniture. So when we moved, I had no place at all for all my office stuff. I ended up buying the Martha Stewart Craft Space furniture from Home Decorator Collection. This furniture is awesome! It's made of real wood and is really solidly made. And it is relatively inexpensive when you compare it to the likes of Pottery Barn or places like that. I love it so far. The only piece not yet here is my actual desk (which is called a "craft table" which seems way more fun than a desk!) It was supposed to ship on 5/2 and then it said 5/9, and now it's not until 5/16...I'm sensing a trend...let's hope it doesn't last.
Here's the bottom drawer of the cabinet. It's a super deep drawer and houses everything from my glue to my cricut cartridges to my camera lenses! Weeeee!
Love it. Once I get my desk, I'll post pictures of the whole room!!!
This is a picture of the gift wrap hutch! Seriously! I LOVE the gift wrap hutch! (Ignore the mess). I haven't yet stocked it with gift wrap, but you get the gist...
This is the second draw of the piece under the gift wrap hutch. I absolutely LOVE the drawer dividers. My stuff now has a place to be that's somewhat organized!

day 128/365 mother's day
Happy mother's day! My day was pretty good. I got to spend some morning time with my girl snuggled in bed. Then I made a pretty good crock pot dinner (which is OK, I didn't mind that I had to cook it myself). And while it was cooking, we went to the mall. When we came home, we went swimming for the first time in our new pool! And then, I watched Cassidy play with neighbors outside in the cul-de-sac, which made me smile. A good day!

In celebration of mother's day, I got to go to Cassidy's school for breakfast. And look at the hat Cassidy made for me!!!! So sweet. They sewed on the buttons themselves! And they even made the flowers. Such a sweet mother's day present! My girl was so happy to be spending the morning at school with mom. It made my heart soar!!! Happy Early Mother's Day everyone!
