10 years ago, today, we got married. It was 4 days after 9/11. And many were unable to travel to our wedding. Some of our guests had to get creative and figure out another way. My BIL drove from Michigan. And my florist desperately prayed that the flowers I wanted could be flown in in time for our wedding. 10 years ago, today, at our wedding, you wouldn't have known of the disaster and despair on the other side of the country. And looking at the flowers, you wouldn't have known about all the favors the florist called in just to make it happen. It's hard to imagine how much has changed since 10 years ago, today, both with us and with the world. We will always remember 9/11 and that we got married 4 days after 9/11. It will always be a part of our history.
