So at 11 p.m., Cassidy woke up with right-sided abdominal pain and dizziness. I, of course, immediately thought she had appendicitis and rushed her to the ER. While there, we learned Cassidy's temperature was 104 degrees!!! YIKES! So she was given meds and fluids and had a CT scan of her abdomen. It was normal. So they did a chest x-ray because she was coughing...it was normal. Fever went down and she was discharged at 3 a.m....She's now fully recovered! But I wonder why she had that high fever???
